Welcome, travelers, to Odyssey It- a travel blog to document my time living abroad in Paris.

I'm an American college student currently doing the summer semester of my second year in college to finish up the general-education requirements of my college. UChicago requires that all of its students study history at some point in a sequence of classes formally called Civilization Studies, colloquially called Civ. Those are what I will be focusing on while I'm here, though I will also be taking an into-level French class.
